You’ve heard of a carbon footprint.  It’s the calculation that shows us how much carbon we are emitting through all sources.

In similar fashion, our digital footprint is the calculation of our interactions in a digital information environment through all different electronic sources.  Thanks to the talented folks over at Wikibon.org/Big Data, we can view these numbers in terms of some pretty important demographics.

Some of this big data we expected, but there are some surprises here.  Gen Xers are the biggest consumers of online video.  Gen Xers spend the most time online.  What surprised you?
